The Gokul Parvati Rural Degree College Kuntara has a common library. It has an extensive collection of reference books for the graduate students. The library has automated all its library activity to provide effective and wide range of academic recourses such as books, journal and online data bases. There is a reading room facility available for students near to library.

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Saturday-8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

RESOURCES: The library having 13,607 books for graduate students.

NEWESPAPER: The library has subscribed newspapers both in English and Odia.

LOAN PERIOD: Loning periods of various library documents and books are 8 weeks for faculties and 15 days for students.

LIBRARY RULES:

The total stock of the library is 14100.

1. The library opens from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. on every working day.
2. Every bona fide student is issued with a library card at the time of admission. Books are issued to a student in production of library card for a period of seven days only at a time. If the return date of the book is on a holiday, it may be returned on the next day.
3. No book is taken out of the library without the knowledge of the librarian or without being entered in the register.
4. Any book lost, damaged or defaced by a borrower must be replaced by him or her with an amount three times of the price of the book.
5. Any book underlined, dog-eared or any page removed from a book will not be returned to the library. The borrower must have to replace a new book.
6. Magazines, journals, dictionary ,Granthabalis and rare books are not issued to the students.
7. Spitting/ smoking inside the library is strictly forbidden.
8. The library premises must not be used for any purpose other than reading or consulting regarding books.
9. Books will be issued to the borrower as per the following way.
   • Member of teaching staff - 10
   • Member of non-teaching staff - 2
   • +3 Hons student - 2
