The college Sports incharges makes it a point every year to conduct certain activities that would ; ensure development of their wholesome personalities for which Mr. H.K Sahu, PET  organized a seminar cum poractical session on Yoga in the college premises with the presence of Shri. Duryodhan Meher, I/C Principal, Khagapati Amat Lecturer in History and NSS co-ordinator Tarun Kumar Pruseth and Miss Devahuti Sahu, Lecturer in Political science. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. It has been a practice of our institution to give importance to Yoga as it gives several benefits to the one who is a regular practitioner.

Another yoga session was organized in the morning of every day in seven days Winter Special NSS Camp with the help of a professional yoga trainer. All the students NSS Volunteers of the college and NSS Co-ordinator Shri Tarun Kumar Pruseth joined the practical session.

Title of the Practice: “To Inculcate and Improve Moral Values Through Social Service”

Objective of the Practice:

• Excel the skills like soft skills, leadership skill and team-building skill among the students.
• To nurture the students with positive attitudes and values.

The practice: Outreach programs like social services sensitize students towards their duties and responsibilities within the society and community. It develops the moral values and benevolent qualities of the students. Most importantly, students become aware, compassionate, and benevolent citizens who believe in the betterment of society. Social outreach program runs throughout the year by our college.  The key idea behind this practice was to provide opportunities for students to help the under privilege people of the society.

Some of the activities of the last few years include:

• Students worked to create awareness on Solid Waste Management at various villages. 
• Conducted a Sanitation program.
• Street plays on “Mada Mukti Abhiyan” (Anti Alchohol Addiction Campaign) and Corona awareness, sanitation and health for girls, importance of literacy.
• Seedling and sapling inside and outside the campus. 
• Blood donation camps organize to donate blood for the benefit of society.
• AIDS awareness program

Evidence of success:Remarkable improvement found in the attitude of the students, particularly personal outcomes, such as identity development and cultural understanding due to the social outreach activities.

Problems encountered and resources required: It takes significant amounts of time to develop a productive working relationship with a community. More numbers of days are required to improve and develop good relationship with community. Lack of funds is a constraint.

Title of the practice: -“Over all developments of the students by emphasizing co-curriculum and extra-curricular activities”.

Objective of the practice:-

1. To improve over all personality development.
2. To increase leadership quality.
3. To enhance communication skills.
4. To improve knowledge about social and human relationship.
5. To inculcate human values and professional ethics.

The Context:-

Mostly the young minds are influenced by the rapid social and cultural changes. There is ample of scope for over all personality development of the young minds in an educational institution. Our college organized various co-curricular and extracurricular activities by time to time which attributes holistic development of the students. College conducts Annual Sports, Annual Function, College foundation day and some other interclass games competitions. Students also participate in inter college sports games and cultural competitions.
NSS Unit of the college conducts different outreach programs such as Swachha Bharat Abhiyan, AIDS Awareness, and Health Awareness etc. This helps to improve the communication skill and personality development of the students. By doing this types of outreach activities students become aware about human value also.

Evidence of success:-

Remarkable improvement of the communication skill has found among the students, benevolent attitude found with the students. Friendly, brotherly and sisterly attitude grow with them.

Problems encountered and resources required:-

Finance is the main constriction to conduct frequently and more outreach programs for the developments of the students. For holistic approach, it is required to conducts different spiritual programs.
