There is a students’ union in the college where all the students of +3 classes are bonafide members. One president, one vice president, one secretary, one joint secretary, a lady representative and the class representatives come from each class are office bearers of the union for that academic year.

He will remain in charge of all sports materials. He will coach the athletes and instil a spirit of sportsmanship in the minds of the students.
The National Service Scheme started from the session 1978-79. There is a boy's unit and girl's unit in +3 wing. The scope of NSS is very vast. Anyhow the main aims of NSS are described below.
The Youth Red Cross (YRS) started in our college during the session 2004-05. All the bonafide student of the college are the members of it. The main aim of this Red Cross is to help people selflessly, at the time of need and emergency. Besides, it aims at rendering service at the time of natural calamity, help the poor and down trodden people, patients and the distressed ones.
The college has been organising blood donation camps, World AIDS Day and Health awareness programme from time to time. It was the proud moment of the college that the unit won an award at district level organised by the Sambad which is a Daily News paper.
Now the unit is being carried out by Mr. Shiv Shankar Mallick Lect. in Mathematics very promptly.
This club started in our college during the session 2004-05, taking 40 students as its members in it. It was started under the guidance of Sri Khagapati Amat Lect. in History as Teacher in charge.
The basic objective of this club is to keep the college clean and greenery disposing garbage, planting seedling around the college and organising essay and debate competition among the students.
The club also grows kitchen garden inside the women’s hostel and helps boarders providing green fresh vegetables for their mess. The girl boarders derive pleasure while walking in the garden and they also learn dignity of labour.
It is a training programme sponsored by the Govt. of Odisha for Girl students in each and every college. There is a unit in college which has been working since 2013-14. Now this programme is headed by Miss Deepika Behera Lect. in English from the session 2016-17. Total 300 Girls students have been enrolled in the programme. The training has been imparted to the students regularly in the morning in the college premises.
There is an women’s grievance cell in the college headed by a senior teacher and a lady teacher to inquire and suggest redressal to any grievance of any girl student or lady employee.
There is an anti-ragging cell in the college managed by some teachers. This cell is working according to the relevant decision of the honourable Supreme Court of India and orders of the UGC and Govt. Of Odisha. Students found involved in following activities will be punished severely.
